Hammer Song Farm’s Fake French Toast

2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 cup fresh or frozen berries
2 2/3 cup half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 loaf of italian bread sliced into 3/4 inch slices
1 jar Crooked River Herb Farm Dazzleberry , My Mom’s Peach Strawberry or
Patty Lee’s Sour Cherry Jam

Melt Butter, Mix in flour and sugar

Cover bottom of glass or ceramic pie pan with berries

Cover berries with butter, flour, sugar mixture

Cover above with sliced bread

Mix remaining ingredients and pour over bread

Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cover with tin foil last 10 minutes

Spoon jam over top and serve with a little half and half  poured over.
